The Mansions at The Cascades is certainly an oasis within East Texas, but when you venture out beyond the shores of Lake Bellwood you’ll find even more to see and do.
Historic Tyler offers a thriving shopping, business and entertainment district including Broadway Square Mall with its many specialty shops and major department stores.
The world-famous Rose City Complex is only a few minutes away and is home to both the Tyler Civic Theatre Center, with its unique theatre-in-the-round experience, and the Harvey Convention Center.
Tyler is also home to the nation’s largest rose garden. The 14 beautifully maintained acres of the Rose Museum and Gardens put on an unparalleled display of color with more than 38,000 rose bushes in 500 different varieties, and just a few minutes away is the Bergfeld Park Amphitheater.
In mid-July, Tyler and The Cascades play host to the Texas State Open Golf Championship, and September explodes with activity when the East Texas State Fair comes to town.
Tyler supplements the activities offered at The Mansions at The Cascades with lakes Tyler and Palestine joining Lake Bellwood to offer even more fishing, boating and water recreation opportunities. And while you’re mastering your golf skills on The Cascades course you can test them on any of Tyler’s other golf courses including Hollytree, Willowbrook and Eagle’s Bluff
Tyler also has five public courses to choose from, and was named “The Top Golf City In The State Of Texas” by GOLF DIGEST magazine.
Education in Tyler is second to none with the All Saints Episcopal School conveniently located at the entrance to The Cascades. This K–12 learning facility has an excellent reputation, and is one of the highest rated private schools in Texas. Robert S. Bradford, Ph.D., a science professor at All Saints, designed The Cascades Center for Environmental Education, a 10-mile trail system and preserve that will educate residents on the wildlife and natural wonders of our unique community.
The inspiration for The Mansions at The Cascades is nature itself.
Adjacent to one of Texas’ most picturesque landscapes, the spectacular Cascades Golf Course, and historic, spring-fed LakeBellwood, this beautiful neighborhood is designed to thrive within itsenvironment.
Each rental townhome is designed in concert withnature by conserving energy with additional weather-stripping, solarscreens, reflective Tech Shield sheathing in the attic, insulation anddualpane low-E windows. Air conditioners are 13 SEER, with programmablethermostats which use 30% less energy than the current industrystandard.
Even concrete streets were poured, to reduce the use of oil-based products such as asphalt.
Our standards are well above those of the industry, to ensure comfort in extreme weather conditions.
Respectfor our environment and energy conservation are two of our toppriorities. The goal is to conserve our natural resources, and toachieve that goal we have ensured continuous community efforts, including a well-trained staff and recycling programs.
